Abstract

This paper presents the effectiveness of multilayer perception (MLP) networks for estimation of blasting vibration using past observations of various blasting parameters. Here we propose a fusion network that combines several MLPs and on-line feature selection technique to obtain more reliable and accurate estimation over the empirical models. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2004.
