Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance of an information flow management (IFM) and to show a way how IFM can streamline business processes. First a definition of relevant terms is given. Then the paper demonstrates how IFM can be applied to an industrial case in order to streamline and support the business processes. © IFIP International Federation for Information Processing 2014.
