Abstract

This paper deals with a viable solution for PC-based control of focus and illumination for a digital micro-scope. To adjust focus and illumination, the PC controls step-ping motors, with the help of Micro-Manager1.3, ImageJ1.43 and MATLAB7.4 routines. The best performance parameter was the variance, both for focus and for illumination control. © 2013 Springer.
