Abstract

The imaging and printing solutions group (IPG) was one of the biggest business units of the Palo Alto, California,-based Hewlett Packard (HP), accounting for $20 billion of its $42.4 billion in revenue in 1999 and the majority of its profits. HP was the market leader in virtually every category of imaging and printing solutions related product. Some of the products of the IPG group included Liquid Inkjet, Laserjet, and other imaging solutions such as scanners and cameras. © Springer Berlin · Heidelberg 2005.
