Abstract

An essay on extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the substance of Catholic doctrine is presented. It discusses the question of how to reconcile the teaching of Vatican II and the post-conciliar Magisterium with what preceded. It describes the doctrine extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the question of whether salvation is possible for those outside of the visible Catholic Church.
