Abstract

The authors focus on the way of using a combination of social networking and mobile technology at an elementary school in order to increase students´ motivation. The paper summarizes the results of a survey, which was attended by respondents from elementary schools in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. The paper also presents methods of using mobile technologies and social networks in elementary school in order to involve students into education and increase their motivation.
