Nowadays, autism could be considered as a still untreatable disease. Its very complex nature and the still unclear pathophysiology and pathogenesis create challenges in treating this disorder. This chapter describes the state–of–the–art about pharmacological interventions and focuses on novel potential therapeutics, including cell therapies, for autism care.
