Abstract

This paper conducts demand analysis for 5G, edge computing and other application scenarios of power demand side management, proposes a data collection model for power demand side management based on edge computing, designs an intelligent scheduling mechanism based on lightweight container technology, and realizes demand response terminals. The standardized access, edge intelligent processing, and security protection capabilities are improved, which reduces the service transmission delay, realizes local distribution of power load management information and edge intelligent analysis; designed a 5G-based power demand side management system communication networking scheme, A cloud-side-terminal collaboration mechanism based on 5G and edge computing has been constructed to provide millisecond-level real-time data transmission services for services such as power load management, realizing the collaborative management and control of demand response terminals, as well as the access and communication of edge IoT agent devices., management and scheduling of computing and storage resources, to achieve unified control and flexible adaptation between demand response terminals, edge IoT proxy devices, and upper-layer demand-side management platforms. The 5G-based demand-side management communication networking solution has been verified by the State Grid Shanghai Customer Service Center, enabling efficient and real-time transmission of electricity load management business information.
