Abstract

A review, with 23 refs. Most current thinking concerning the origin of life has become rooted in a theory which is referred to as the "RNA World". The origins and consequences of the theory will be explained and recent research concerning the possible origins of the first RNA mols. will be reviewed. [on SciFinder(R)]
