Abstract

This paper presents a microcontroller based home environmental control unit (ECU). A sensor is used to convert air temperature to a voltage reading that is proportional to degrees Celsius. The temperature is compared to user defined minimum and maximum set points. Temperature control is based on the result of this comparison.
