During times of forced migration, the focus in children is on infectious diseases, which are managed by vaccinations and antibiotics; and malnutrition that is managed by nutritional support. Cancer treatment is costly and not a priority during these times. The systems for the care for children with cancer need to be developed and close attention should be paid to provision of tertiary care, particularly while facing the difficulties in accessing care at times of prolonged migration.
