Abstract

The article presents a transcript of an address given by Joanna Brooks at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Exponent II Retreat held in Greenfield, New Hampshire on September 13, 2014, discussing the topic of Mormon feminism. Subjects addressed include expressions of resistance and persecution by the intellectual group by church authorities, calls for ongoing female contributions to Mormon theology, and advice for the movement to grow and maintain itself in the following 40 years.
