Abstract

The article discusses the transformation of Ain Sokhna from a little harbour to an industrialized port in Egypt. It states that major investments swarm to Ain Sokhna after the state of Egypt privatized its maritime industry. It mentions that Port Sokhna houses a cargo and liquid bulk terminal, a power plant and a logistics center while its leading investor is DP World which is owned by Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem.
