The purpose of this research, to investigate the relationship between the adolescent cognitive flexibility and personality traits according to gender. 441 adolescents participated The study. Five Factor Personality Inventory Scale and cognitive flexibility. were used in the research. Adolescents with increased levels of cognitive flexibility were more extroverted, more self-controlled and were much more open for improvement. In contrast, the lower the level of cognitive flexibility in adolescents the higher the emotional neutrality. When Gender and cognitive flexibility are paired with the results show that girls with lower cognitive flexibility showed higher emotinal neutrality scores then young men.
