Abstract

The article explores several reports about human rights and equality in Great Britain. The Eight Report of the Joint Committee on Human Rights, titled "The Human Rights of Older People in Healthcare," describes the abuse of older people a serious and severe human rights abuse. The sixth report of the Communities and Local Government Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), titled "Equality," emphasizes the need to address inequalities and discrimination arising from domestic experiences and circumstances. The National Audit Office's (NAO) report "Performance, Measurement, Practice: Targeting Inequalities," looks at the use of targets to address equalities.
