Abstract

Take into account the fact that the transmission delay of communication channel and the traditional self-node time-varying delays generally coexist. A lag synchronization (LS) problem of the heterogeneous dynamical delayed complex networks (HDDCNs) by using a decentralized adaptive control (DAC) scheme is investigated in this paper. Besides this, the nodes are divided into clusters based on their dynamics characteristic, each cluster is considered as a whole. Firstly, several sufficient criteria are proposed to guarantee a lag synchronization. Secondly, we employ a DAC scheme to reduce the cost of control while achieving lag synchronization. Thirdly, one typical simulation is conducted to illustrate the correctness of the results that we obtained.
