Abstract

This chapter briefly introduces the definitions of nanotechnology in textiles, the benefits of nanotechnology-based textiles, some examples of commonly used enhancements in the market for functional and clinical applications, smart clothing, safety concerns of nanotechnology in textiles and regulatory concerns.
