Abstract

The research deals with the problems of predicting the epidemic process of HIV infection. To solve this problem, an intelligent agent-based model has been developed, which allows to take into account factors affecting the incidence, distribution by age categories and risk groups. The model uses statistical data on the real incidence of HIV infection in the Kharkiv region from 2010 to 2018. The intelligent agent-based model is implemented in the Visual Studio 2013 development environment with use of the C# programming language. The developed software package shows high accuracy of the forecast.
