Abstract

High-tech industry development process associated with high risk. It promotes the transformation and upgrade of traditional industries structure, makes a growing contribution to economic growth and enhances national competitiveness. Risk measurement and early warning in the development of high-tech industry is a very complex and scientific issues. It is complicated because many factors affect their development. This paper analyzes the risk factors and features of high-tech industry, reviews existing risk measurement and early warning methods. Then we discuss the deficiency of existing methods and possible research directions. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
