Abstract

Nowadays, there is an increase of obesity and consequently treatment for this problem. Although the participation of the psychoanalyst is important, differences between the focus of work of the psychoanalyst and of the medical area often hinder the dialogue between them. In this context, this article aims to examine, from Foucault's referential, the process of dialogue between the fields of medicine and psychoanalysis. As a result, we expect to see an improvement in clinical psychoanalysis in hospitals and to facilitate the process of communication in the multidisciplinary team.
