The formation of spiritual and moral values of adolescents in the process of familiarization with the folk art culture

Abstract

Issues of spiritual and moral education of a person have been relevant throughout the history of mankind, and in modern conditions of informatization of society, they acquire a special meaning. Today it is necessary to formulate true moral principles in a teenager, high life values, and the integrity of worldview. A special role in the implementation of this task belongs to the folk art culture of the Slavs. An analysis of an empirical study conducted on the basis of SBEI School No 2123 named after M. Hernandez. In the course of the study, the author's program for the formation of spiritual and moral values of adolescents was used, based on the Slavic tradition of raising a person. The authors conduct a comparative analysis of the level of formation of spiritual and moral values of adolescents at the ascertaining and control stages of the study. The highest indicators were identified by the average level of formation of spiritual and moral values among the participants in the experiment. Testing the author's program, based on the pedagogical principles of the education of the Slavic people, made it possible to increase the level of formation of spiritual and moral qualities of adolescents, which confirmed its effectiveness. The authors come to the conclusion that universal values and ideals that make up the spiritual and moral basis of personality can be found in ancient cultures of people who lived closer to nature and to themselves than people of modern times. An introduction to the folk art culture of the ancient Slavs can help in the formation of spiritual and moral values of a growing personality.
