Abstract

In the intelligent warehouse, the quantity of intelligent handling robot configuration is not scientific, causing adverse shelf handling and increasing waiting time, which reduces the picking efficiency and increases the cost. Thus, in this paper, the problem of quantity demand analysis of robots in intelligent warehouse is described and simplified to queue theory. Then, considering the factors of the numbers of order, the efficiency of picking and the cost of equipment, the model of quantity demand analysis of robots has been established. Based on the queue theory, the main index and the objective function of the model is calculated with different number of robots in intelligent warehouse, by the simulation program in MATLAB. So that the optimal number configuration of robots can be obtained, solving the problem of low picking efficiency and high cost during the homework peak period.
