Abstract

Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) is an independent government agency established by Parliament in 1992 and responsible to the Secretary of State for Scotland. It has a duty to protect and enhance Scotland’s wildlife, habitats and landscapes and to foster an awareness and understanding of Scotland’s natural heritage.
