Relationship capital management: A study case in a traditional industry in Brazil

Abstract

The relationship capital and the related management ways used have been presented as an important strategy to reach goals and organizational objectives. In this study, results obtained show the reality of one company that make a new one structure that leads the growth of new related problems associated with the process of knowledge diffusion and management. Especially resource human politics implemented by the company to deal with employees temporary and effectives generated a different perception that can prejudice all the work developed by relationship capital practices. The study shows that one company which is trying to modernize and stimulate the relationship capital development should develop a new way to evaluate the obtained results. In this case it's necessary to evaluate the development in the seven points identified during this study: knowledge, commitment, relationship, costs, responsibility, information and quality.
