Abstract

The paper describes the construction of an information system to support the design process of complex equipment based on mechanisms of manipulation and control three-dimensional models of objects. Problem creating interactive three-dimensional models of objects with reference to specific points on the marker image is also placed in the topic. The authors analyze the existing and proposed new ways and mechanisms of manipulation and control of threedimensional models of objects based on augmented reality technology. The part of current research is developing of algorithms that demonstrate how to work with the information system. The authors propose the architecture of an information system adapted for solving problems of support decision-making processes in computer-aided design. Information system to support the design process of complex packaging equipment in the form of applications for mobile devices based on augmented reality technology was developed. The effectiveness of the approach was confirmed by the appropriate computational experiments.
