Abstract

Based on the basic theory of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), this paper summarized a series of indicators which reflected the effect of the ERP system. Then we used BP neural network and ant colony algorithm together to evaluate the effect of the ERP system. After we get the scores of the evaluation of the subsystems, we can find which subsystem is the weakest, so we can improve that subsystem and make the whole system better. The empirical results show that the ant colony network not only has the extensive mapping capability as the neural network, but also has the high-speed and global convergence features as the ant colony algorithm. When we use this model, we can get better accuracy and efficiency. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
