Abstract

Swampsnakes in the genus Tretanorhinus are nocturnally active aquatic to semi-aquatic snakes that inhabit freshwater streams and swamps and brackish water in mangrove forests (Dunn 1939; Lee 1996; Savage 2002; Heimes 2016).
