Following the Si Miao Decoction combined with acupuncture and cupping therapy there was a significant reduction in the clinical parameters (SMD: −0.91, 95% CI: −1.081, −0.741, p = 0.000) (OR: −1.652, 95% CI: −1.960, −1.344, p = 0.000). High heterogeneity tests were indicated (Q=146.548, P = 0.00, I 2 = 94.54%). This systematic review and meta-analysis indicated that the Si Miao decoction combined with acupuncture and cupping therapy significantly reduced the circulating levels of UA, ESR, and CRP.
