Abstract

With the recent release of the Fit framework, instructors can easily add acceptance testing into assignments in an introductory course in programming. In this paper we’ll see how acceptance tests can be used by instructors to clarify the assignment and by students to check their progress. We’ll also present an overview of the Fit framework and outline the differences between acceptance and unit testing in the classroom.
