Abstract

Components of the visual systeminclude the optical components of the eye (cornea, aqueous humor, lens, and vitreous body), retina, optic nerves, optic tracts, optic radiations, visual cortex, and a variety of nuclei. Each of these structures plays an important role in receiving and interpreting visual signals.
