Abstract

Sustainable supply chain management practices create a positive effect on the image of businesses, while smart supply chain practices provide a competitive advantage by providing flexibility, speed, risk management, cost savings, inventory accuracy, etc. Smart supply chain management practices help firms to achieve more sustainability in the economic, environmental and social dimensions with innovative technologies in the supply chain. Firms have to give importance to sustainability in order to remain competitive and enhance firm’s long-term performance. For this reason, the aim of this study is to determine important criteria that affect the sustainability of smart supply chain. The criteria discussed in this study were evaluated in the scope of economic, environmental and social practices. In order to acquire more accurate results, the criteria were evaluated by fuzzy SWARA method. The results were discussed and the most important main criteria and sub-criteria that affect the sustainability of the smart supply chain have been revealed.
