Abstract

Marxism has been ignored, criticized, travestied, and vilified during more than a century. But no one can honestly deny that Karl Marx was a great economist, as well as a courageous social critic and labor organizer, a brilliant journalist, and the deepest and most eloquent critic of capitalism. Even the pope Benedict XVI admitted that Marx has fascinated and continues to fascinate.
