Abstract

In John's Gospel a sign is a manifestation, through the person of Jesus, of God's work in the world. Faith is faithfulness in trusting the God who is made known in Jesus Christ. Jesus' signs lead to faith when one discerns in them the manifestation of the character of God as life-giving and responds to Jesus as mediating that life.--D.J.H. Abstract Number: NTA37-1993-1-226
