Planning Model for the Realisation of an Eco-city — The Case of Taejon Metropolitan City

Abstract

The most pressing global environmental, economic and social issues that we will face in the next century will be in the cities. The inclusion of environmental dimensions into urban land use planning and development can be seen in terms of the development of an eco-city which provides an integrated solution to the global social and ecological crisis.
