Abstract

In this work, we focus on vehicular-based message delivery methods that are effective in disaster situations. In our previous work, we proposed a message relaying method with Enhanced Dynamic Timer (EDT) for Vehicular Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN). In this paper, we evaluate the network performance of proposed EDT considering different reset threshold for Vehicular DTN. From the simulation results, we found that setting of RT less than 0.5 reduced storage usage regardless the number of vehicles.
