Abstract

This paper discusses digital watermarking from the view point of communications with side information SI since SI may be quite informative from a watermarking perspective We survey several watermarking methods that were developed by utilizing the SI concept We further classify these SI based methods into two categories according to where the SI is available and where it comes from We believe that in corporation of multiple side information might be helpful in developing a better watermarking scheme i.e., a system with capabilities of blind de tection robustness resistant to both removing and geometric attacks and correct recovery of multiple-bit message.
