Abstract

The exercise professional should be aware of this rare but dangerous condition. A history of EIA should surface during a health and fitness assessment. This way the exercise professional can help increase exercise training safety by making any necessary exercise modifications. Most importantly, make sure the client has their epinephrine pen with them at all times. A strong focus on preventative measures will maximize safe and effective exercise and enhance the client's experience.
