Abstract

In this chapter the author describes an interesting application of cryptographic methods, showing how a group of people can play poker by email without giving an unfair advantage to any of the players. He discusses various aspects of the challenge, and includes a mathematical description. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
