Abstract

This chapter offers an overview of the prevalence and clinical characteristics of obsessive-compulsive disorder and obsessive-compulsive symptoms in patients with psychotic disorders. Differences in pattern of onset and clinical course of obsessive-compulsive symptoms/obsessive-compulsive disorder in schizophrenia, and subgroups within the co-morbid sample are discussed.
