Abstract

In times of frenetic changes, the Regular Basic Education system desperately needs to turn itself into a comprehensive education system that analyzes different contexts with a meaningful and investigative approach. We are experiencing a pre-packaged education system which aims to homogenize and standardize, turning students into simple tools responding to the status-quo without strong ethical principles. As a case study, we look into Giordano Liva Educative Institution from year 2016 to July 2019.The aim of the investigation is to analyze how it has been possible to implement a constructivist education into this institution and also reflect crosswise on the causes that generated educational models rather then educational projects. It emerged that, during the 3 and a half years period, the students at Gordano Liva become empowered and active subjects of the learning process building an encouraging and favorable institutional environment which contributed to the overall comprehensive educational growth. The performed investigation is an essential contribute, not only to the Institution itself, but also to highlight the importance of implementing the theory of Constructivism into educational systems, building, in such a way, a base for an educational approach which is fully committed to the student society. The constructivist education stimulate us to a further reflection on the paradigm: apprehending-apprenticeship-learning mediators.
