A number of gynaecological conditions can present with urinary incontinence, and the presence of a large pelvic mass may worsen pelvic floor symptoms. This chapter outlines the transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound techniques of imaging the female pelvic organs for the non-gynaecologist. Examples of common gynaecologic pathologies which may be encountered during pelvic ultrasound imaging are presented.
