Since about thirty years, the research devoted to the study of competencies saw a considerable development, in particular in management. However, in the field of entrepreneurship, the investigations dedicated to the entrepreneurial competencies' acquisition and development processes have little evolved these last years. Bruyat (1993), and to the processual approach of A. Fayolle (2005), according to which the venture creation process is declined into three stages : release, entrepreneur's commitment and survival -- development of the new project. We propose a cognitive approach allowing the enumeration of specific competencies required in each
