Abstract

Users understand a product usually need to open its packaging, control product manuals to understand the function and usage of the product. However, through the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology and some computer 3D modelling techniques into Quick Response Code (QR Code) on product packaging, a virtual product model can be constructed by scanning a QR Code with a mobile phone without disassembling the package can understand the appearance, function and use of the product. This article aims to study the market value of the technology and its technical means. Meanwhile, its advantages are discussed in packing.
