Abstract

Strong-field control of acetylene fragmentation by fully determined few-cycle laser pulses is demonstrated. The control mechanism is shown to be based on electron recollision and inelastic ionization from inner-valence molecular orbitals. © Owned by the authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2013.
