Abstract

The case of four patients who presented with cough seizures are described. Subsequent investigations revealed the presence of a cerebral tumour in two and atheromatous narrowing of the internal carotid artery in the other two. These findings illustrate the importance of excluding abnormalities of the brain and cerebral blood-vessels in patients with this disorder. © 1966, British Medical Journal Publishing Group.
