In order to describe the rheological behavior of polymer melts in a practical vibration force field, the nonaffine network structural model is generalized from a simple oscillatory shear force field to a sine pulsating flow field. Through experiments and theoretic analyses, we prove that this model can be described preferably the viscous and elastic behavior of polymer melts in sine pulsating flow field, and the change amplitude of the shear stress increases with the vibration frequency or amplitude increasing. © Springer-Verlag 2004.
