Abstract
Notes on stellar colors spectral types, and physical quantities of stars are followed by cataloging of variable stars and their classification. The group of eclipsing binaries is described in the section of binary stars. Methods and tools for observing and for the calculation of binary star orbits are outlined. Finally there are informations on the Milky Way, the Galactic Nebulae, Globular Clusters, and Extragalactic Objects.
