Abstract

A method is described for the identification of lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) acyltransferase (E.C. 2.3.1.23) from developing castor bean (Ricinus communis) endosperm using [(3-iodo-4-azidosalicyl)-12-amino]dodecanoyl-CoA and [(3-iodo-4-azidosalicyl)-12-amino]dodecanoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphocholine. Both photoprobes interacted with the active site or substrate-binding site of the enzyme. [on SciFinder (R)]
