Abstract

Detailed considerations required for wave-structure interaction, incorporating a three-dimensional diffraction/ radiation theory, are presented. Analytical results were correlated with model test data. Forces were computated for several offshore structures including a subsea hemispherical body, an elliptical dock, a triangular floating barge, an OTEC platform, large-based structures and open-bottom structures.
