Abstract

As a part of our study of the thermal properties of mesomorphic cellulose derivatives, this paper is devoted to two subjects. The first one is a first step for analyzing the mesomorphic-isotropic transition, in order to separate the first and second order contributions. The second part is a DSC study of hydroxypropylcellulose, both in the bulk and in solution.
